In its old age, the 152-year-old neo-gothic style chapel has seen all sorts of wear and tear. Thankfully, Swiss officials came to the building’s rescue and restored it before its collapse. It wasn’t cheap, though; the building’s renovation cost around 642,000 Swiss francs.
