New York Fashion Week’s slutty little sister, Miami Swimsuit Week (formally known as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami), turned 10 this summer. All That Is Interesting celebrated it by rounding up some of the best, sexiest, and strangest collections from the 2015 Miami Swimsuit Week. From dominatrix biker chicks to Hawaiian hula girls to pastel-patterned water aliens, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami has it all.

MINIMALE ANIMALE

MINIMALE ANIMALE is the product of designer/stylist Cassandra Kellogg’s obsession with the beach and “all things associated with the ocean.” Kellogg started out concocting her own waterproof creations for music festivals, water sports, and beach trips, and after receiving tons of positive feedback she decided to launch her own line.

During an interview, Kellogg stated that the inspiration behind her 2015 collection was a “motorcycle 90s dominatrix.” We think she hit her mark.

MINIMALE ANIMALE swimwear has been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Exit, Foam, Esquire UK, and Self Service Magazines. Kellogg’s designs have been called edgy, sexy, and fashion forward, and her 2015 collection follows that trend.

Sisters Kalani and Oleema Miller were raised in a Southern Californian surfer family, and their swimwear and ready-to-wear line, MIKOH, stays true to those sun-drenched and scantily clad roots. Kalani focuses on the business side, while Oleema designs the looks. Beyond looking cute, MIKOH suits are all seamless and hardware free, so wearers can stop worrying about shark attacks and focus on swimming.
