Originally founded as a Buddhist monastery and university between the 12th and 13th centuries, the Ta Prohm temple attracts thousands of visitors to the Angkor region of Cambodia every year. Thanks to being hidden by vast wildlife and jungles, Ta Prohm has remained relatively unchanged over time–so much so that it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992.
