The Rich History Of Ronda, Spain

Ronda Spain

The Andalusian cliffs featured above are nearly as vast as the town they physically support. Located in Malaga, within the walls of Ronda lays neolithic settlements as well as some incredible cave paintings. The city was called home by various settlers, though the one recognizable today was given its name by none other than Julius Caesar. Centuries later, the township transformed into sanctuary for many Muslims fleeing or cast out of the Iberian peninsula following their defeat in Granada.
